Take Me Out To The Ball Game

.
The image “http://www.egr.msu.edu/~romelcha/Julie%20and%20Chandra%20at%20Denver%20baseball%20stadium.JPG” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Take me out
To the ball game
Take me out
With the crowd
Buy me some peanuts
And Crackerjacks
I don't care if
I never never get back

The image “http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20050302/images/peanuts300.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Let me root, root root
For the home team
If they don't win
It's a shame
For it's one, two,
Three strikes you're out
At the old ball game!

Katie Casey was base ball mad.
Had the fever and had it bad;
Just to root for the home town crew,
Ev'ry sou Katie blew.
On a Saturday, her young beau
Called to see if she'd like to go,
To see a show but Miss Kate said,
"No, I'll tell you what you can do."

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

Katie Casey saw all the games,
Knew the players by their first names;
Told the umpire he was wrong,
All along good and strong.
When the score was just two to two,
Katie Casey knew what to do,
Just to cheer up the boys she knew,
She made the gang sing this song:

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, your out,
At the old ball game."

A UNC grad is driving along the road when he sees a
sign on a plot of land that reads "40 acres for sale" and
lists a phone number and in big bold letters the words
"WILL DIVIDE".

The man has been considering buying a bit of land for
investment purposes. He calls the number and when a
lady picks up, he asks her, "Is Mr. Divide in?"

"By way of background: Kyrgyzstan is an actual nation
located in the western hemisphere. Or possibly the eastern

hemisphere. It's definitely in a hemisphere. Historically,

Kyrgyzstan is part of the group of nations -- also including

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kurdistan -- that

founded by a tribe of men named 'Stan.'" -- Dave Barry

Our moral imagination is haunted by monsters -
and the greatest aspect of this horror is the fact
that so many monsters are real. Is the world ready
to face the reality of Mao Zedong?

He was as evil as Hitler or Stalin, and did as
much damage to mankind as they did. Yet the
world knows astonishingly little about him.

What did the acorn say when he became an adult???

ANSWER!!!

All the armies that ever marched,
And all the navies that ever sailed,
And all the parliaments that ever sat,
And all the kings that ever reigned,
Put together,
Have not affected the life of man
..... upon the earth as powerfully,
As that one solitary life.

A UNC scout went to the office of the athletic director and
announced, "Have I got an athlete for you! This guy can
play every sport and excels at every position. He is absolutely
the finest athlete I have ever seen play."

The athletic director was very impressed but had to ask the
question, "But how is he scholastically?"

The scout replied, "He makes straight "A"s in every subject.
However, I must tell you his "B"s are a little crooked."

Verse of the Day

* * * Four important things to KNOW: #1) For ALL (Americans, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhist, Asians, Presbyterians, Europeans, Baptist, Brazilians, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc.) have sinned & fall short of the glory of God. #2) For the wages of above (see #1) are DEATH (Hell, eternal separation from God, & damnation) but the Gift (free & at no charge to you) of God (Creator, Jehovah, & Trinity) is Eternal Life (Heaven) through (in union with) Jesus Christ (God, Lord, 2nd Person of The Trinity, Messiah, Prince of Peace & Savior of the World). #3) For God so greatly loved & dearly prized the world (Americans, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhist, Asians, Presbyterians, Europeans, Baptist, Brazilians, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc.) that He even gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, that whosoever (anyone, anywhere, anytime - while still living) believes (trust in, relies on, clings to, depends completely on) Him shall have eternal (everlasting) life (heaven). #4) Jesus said: "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, & THE LIFE. No one (male/female - American, Muslim, Jew, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, Asian, Presbyterian, European, Baptist, Brazilian, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc. ) comes (arrives) to the Father (with GOD in Heaven) EXCEPT BY (through) ME (no other name). *** This wonderful loving GOD gives you the choice - - - (Rev. 3:20) {Please note that church membership, baptism, doing good things, etc. are not requirements for becoming a Christian - however they are great afterwards!!!} *** Jesus said, "Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction (Hell, damnation, eternal punishment), and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life (Heaven, eternal happiness, forever with God), and only a few find it.

D I S C L A I M E R If someone should ask if it's legal to download songs
found on various non-commercial sites, such as this one.

Well, I'm neither a lawyer nor a technician,
and I've begun to wonder if it was legal for
us to tape music off the radio back when
tape recorders first came into being.

And were we committing a crime when we recorded
a movie shown on TV with our VCRs? And was it
really legal to buy a dual-deck recorder for the
express purpose of duplicating cassettes?

My answer to all of the above is, "I don't know."

Nonetheless, here is a formal statement in
some kind of legalize that appears to apply
to this kind of file availability:
