Why Bad Law Sometimes Has To Go

The confirmation hearings for Judge Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court
are
beginning. If you have followed the press in recent months, you
have seen that
at least three-quarters of the comments have focused
on Alito's position on
abortion. Both sides in the fight feel that he might
be the deciding vote that
could overturn Roe v. Wade. So opponents are
demanding that he either say that
he will vote to overturn Roe so they
can torpedo the nomination, or commit to
upholding Roe.

Comments:
The desire of Gospel for Asia native missionaries is to reach as many lost souls as they can with the Gospel. Therefore, one of the most fulfilling times in their lives occurs when they are able to enter a village for the first time, carrying with them the Good News of Jesus Christ.

GFA mobile teams play a big part in helping missionaries spread the Gospel to more villages. Mobile teams spend about a week with local missionaries and pastors, going with them to nearby villages that have yet to be reached. They talk about Jesus with any who will listen and pass out Gospel tracts. In the evenings they show Man of Mercy, a film on the life of Jesus.

When the mobile team moves on to another village, they leave behind fertile ground. Some villagers will be very interested in the Gospel after seeing the film. Others will have already received salvation. Mobile teams prepare the way for local missionaries to plant more churches.

Click here to see a PhotoShow about the significant impact a mobile team's visit had on GFA Pastor Raji's ministry.

Subject: Iraq
Talk about being left in the dark by our so-called
unbiased press.
Did you know that 47 countries have re-established
their embassies in Iraq?

Did you know that the Iraqi current government employs
12 million Iraqi people
Did you know that 3100 schools have been renovated,
364 schools are under rehabilitation, 263 schools are
now under construction and 38 new schools have been
built in Iraq?

Did you know that Iraq's higher educational structure
consists of 20 Universities, 46 Institutes or colleges
and 4 research centers, all currently operating?
Did you know that 25 Iraq students departed for the
United States in January 2005 for the re-established
Fulbright program?
Did you know that the Iraqi Navy is operational?! They
have 5-100-foot patrol craft, 34 smaller vessels and a
navel infantry regiment.
Did you know that Iraq's Air Force consists of three
operational squadrons, which includes 9 reconnaissance
and 3 US C-130 transport aircraft (under Iraqi
operational control) which operate day and night, and
will soon add 16 UH-1 helicopters and 4 bell jet
rangers?
Did you know that Iraq has a counter-terrorist unit
and a Commando Battalion?

Did you know that the Iraqi Police Service has over
55,000 fully trained and equipped police officers.
Did you know that there are 5 Police Academies ! in
Iraq that produce over 3500 new officers each 8 weeks?
Did you know there are more than 1100 building
projects going on in Iraq?
They include 364 schools, 67 public clinics, 15
hospitals, 83 railroad stations, 22 oil facilities, 93
water facilities and 69 electrical facilities.
Did you know that 96% of Iraqi children under the age
of 5 have received the first 2 series of polio
vaccinations
Did you know that 4.3 million Iraqi children were
enrolled in primary school by mid October?

Did you know that there are 1,192,000 cell phone
subscribers in Iraq and phone use has gone up 158%
Did you know that Iraq has an independent media that
consist of 75 radio stations, 180 newspapers and 10
television stations?

Did you know that the Baghdad Stock Exchange opened in
June of 2004?

Did you know that 2 candidates in the Iraqi
presidential election had a recent televised debate?

OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!
WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW?-OUR MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!

Instead of reflecting our love for our country, we get
photos of flag burning incidents at Abu Ghraib and
people throwing snowballs at
presidential motorcades and Sheheen protesting the
war.

The lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves
two purposes. It is intended to undermine the world's
perception of the United States thus
minimizing consequent support, and it is intended to
discourage American citizens.
Above facts are verifiable on the Department of
Defense website! Pass it on!

Tks: Dr. Bob

Hi!

I found it interesting with the Judge Alito hearings that ABC had free live video of the hearings until the descending testimonies and closing statements of today, the last day, when the only live video feed online was through C-Span...

God bless you,

Phil

I find it interesting that the Democrats find Judge Alitio out of the 'main stream', but bring testimony from organizations way out of the 'main stream'...

Verse of the Day

* * * Four important things to KNOW: #1) For ALL (Americans, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhist, Asians, Presbyterians, Europeans, Baptist, Brazilians, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc.) have sinned & fall short of the glory of God. #2) For the wages of above (see #1) are DEATH (Hell, eternal separation from God, & damnation) but the Gift (free & at no charge to you) of God (Creator, Jehovah, & Trinity) is Eternal Life (Heaven) through (in union with) Jesus Christ (God, Lord, 2nd Person of The Trinity, Messiah, Prince of Peace & Savior of the World). #3) For God so greatly loved & dearly prized the world (Americans, Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhist, Asians, Presbyterians, Europeans, Baptist, Brazilians, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc.) that He even gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, that whosoever (anyone, anywhere, anytime - while still living) believes (trust in, relies on, clings to, depends completely on) Him shall have eternal (everlasting) life (heaven). #4) Jesus said: "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, & THE LIFE. No one (male/female - American, Muslim, Jew, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, Asian, Presbyterian, European, Baptist, Brazilian, Mormons, Methodist, French, etc. ) comes (arrives) to the Father (with GOD in Heaven) EXCEPT BY (through) ME (no other name). *** This wonderful loving GOD gives you the choice - - - (Rev. 3:20) {Please note that church membership, baptism, doing good things, etc. are not requirements for becoming a Christian - however they are great afterwards!!!} *** Jesus said, "Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction (Hell, damnation, eternal punishment), and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life (Heaven, eternal happiness, forever with God), and only a few find it.

D I S C L A I M E R If someone should ask if it's legal to download songs
found on various non-commercial sites, such as this one.

Well, I'm neither a lawyer nor a technician,
and I've begun to wonder if it was legal for
us to tape music off the radio back when
tape recorders first came into being.

And were we committing a crime when we recorded
a movie shown on TV with our VCRs? And was it
really legal to buy a dual-deck recorder for the
express purpose of duplicating cassettes?

My answer to all of the above is, "I don't know."

Nonetheless, here is a formal statement in
some kind of legalize that appears to apply
to this kind of file availability:
